E Taylor & Sons are a family run farming business that has diversified into producing farm animal feeds to match the needs of a range of diets for farm animals.
We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant that is capable of a full range of interesting office duties which will include Weighbridge Operations, Book Keeping, to include Sales Invoicing and Purchase Ledger maintenance, Credit Control, planning and control of stock inventory levels, handling and reconciling petty cash flow, in addition to a broad range of ad-hoc tasks.
The candidate must be fully proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook with quick and accurate keyboard skills and have at least 12 months experience using book keeping software, preferably a Sage accounting package.
The role will include Reception work, meeting and greeting customers, delivery drivers and other visitors. The ability to integrate with a multidisciplinary team is also required. Interacting with the team via hand-held radio is a large part of the role, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
The candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to work autonomously whilst remaining part of the team, flexibility and adaptability is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate initiative and common-sense.
This is a Farming environment, so any experience or background within this sector would be invaluable, but training will be given to someone with the above experience.
