Project and Sales Coordinator
BLS is a family run business manufacturing, supplying and erecting steel portal frame buildings to the agricultural and light industrial sectors. We also have a Kit Building division in the company manufacturing steel portal frame kits for agricultural, industrial and domestic use. The office is small but busy and is situated in a pleasant rural environment near Binley, Coventry.
We are seeking a new Project and Sales Coordinator who must be:
- Extremely organized
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills both face to face and on the telephone

- Flexible and proactive in their attitude to work
- Able to communicate well with all members of staff
The new Project and Sales Coordinator will work directly with the Company Director and Project Manager. There is opportunity for progression within the company for the right candidate. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following;
Liaison with existing and potential clients on the telephone and face to face
Daily liaison and assistance with management of site operatives and contractors
Preparing quotations and submissions
Assisting with project scheduling and planning and H&S documentation
Sourcing pre-project information including analysis of sub-contractor quotations and agreements
Investigating cost effective and/or alternative solutions to any site work issues as they arise
Site visits to understand scope of works and client requirements, and to monitor H&S on site
Input into the development of current marketing strategy
Experience in the agricultural sector or an applicable degree is essential, together with some knowledge of Construction operations and Health & Safety. Good computer skills (MS Office) are also required, knowledge of Autocad is desirable.
Immediate start preferable with a competitive rate of pay.
Hours of work are from 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Holiday entitlement is 20 days (pro rata) leave per annum plus Bank Holidays. The office closes over Christmas/New Year which will take up around 4 days of annual holiday entitlement. We are based in a rural area and the job will involve travelling to sites; access to transport and a current driving licence is essential. Pension scheme is in operation.
