Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and professional herdsperson to take on a good amount of responsibility on a 170 cow unit near Knockanore, Co Waterford. 

Job Skills

You will undertake milking, fertility work, herd health and welfare and grassland management working alongside the owners and other staff.  Experience in a similar role is essential as is excellent communication skills. 

Job Description

The farm produces quality milk from forage for the family owned cheese processor.  Producing milk of the highest quality and hygiene, in a cost effective and profitable way, is your main goal.  The family produce the highly respected and award winning Knockanore range of farmhouse cheeses from raw milk and the winning formula starts with happy, healthy cows!
