Assistant Herdsperson

We require an assistant herdsperson to join the team on a modern and highly progressive unit near Penrith, Cumbria. 

The unit has excellent facilities and has enjoyed continued investment over many years, most recently the installation of a 60 point rotary.   Working alongside the herd manager and owners you will take a responsible role in the day-to-day running of the unit, milkings, herd health and welfare and youngstock work.  

You will take a lead on your weekends on and will support the owners and herd manager with achieving excellent results through a proactive approach.  

In return for your efforts we offer a competitive salary, regular time off and 3-bed house close to the unit.
