Media producer/ Project coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and talented digital media producer to join the UK’s largest agribusiness company, working with some of the biggest agricultural brands across the world. 
 
Based in our head office in Preston, you will be working hand in hand with our Tech, Events, Editorial, and Sponsored Content teams worldwide. You will be responsible for video production and creation, from the planning stages to full completion. This process will consist of brainstorming ideas, storyboarding, filming, editing, and finally, publishing across a variety of different platforms and social media channels. 
 
The role will incorporate on-location shoots that will consist of filming with both our in-house Machinery editorial team and external clients. This will allow you to put your creative stamp on product reviews, machinery testing, interviews, promo packages, and educational pieces. As with all roles, this job also has desk-based responsibilities. You will be part of the team that designs and runs the WordPress websites, UX projects, redesigns online pages for our marketing team – you will pick up your share of these tasks and the admin that goes with it. We estimate this will be 25/30% of the role. 
 
You will also be part of the team responsible for filming and editing some of our annual agricultural events at various venues across the country and occasionally Europe. Therefore, travel is a key aspect of this role and overnight hotel accommodation will be provided on multiple occasions throughout the year. 
 
The ideal candidate will have an existing knowledge of the agricultural industry; however, this is not essential. A willingness to learn and contribute to a continually evolving job role will be key. Experience with camera and audio equipment, along with experience with video editing software, WordPress, HTML and CSS would be advantageous. Full, ongoing support and training will be provided in-house by our experienced digital producers. 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Video/Photography and editing skills 

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS 

  • Where applicable direct and manage professional shoots and video sessions - storyboarding, floor management etc. 

  • Follow the latest digital content trends and engage with the wider digital creative community 

  • Excellent digital design skills - Confident with Adobe Creative Cloud to create banners, infographics, digital advertisements, social media graphics etc 

  • Camera/Drone use and lighting & sound knowledge 

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/After Effects/Illustrator/Photoshop) 

  • WordPress website editing and design/ UX. 

  • CMS editing/ content uploading.  

  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas to the team and clients 

  • Ability to produce content within brand guidelines and agreed timescales. 

  • Great attention to detail, good time management and accuracy.
