In a world full of options, varying quality and challenging demands, you will be the person that can implement a defined quality assurance management strategy covering our supplier base, purchase raw materials, storage and the separate requirements of our animal and pet food customers. Passion for detail, quality and implementation of robust systems are some of the assets that you will need to succeed in this role.
Working with this well-established business you will be part of a company whose ethos is to deliver quality every single time. You will already know the ins-and-outs of quality assurance, as well as feed legislation and regulations, and you will have the drive to deliver the best customer service when it comes to our customers and the end product.
Residing in Yorkshire or Lincolnshire, you will have the opportunity for hybrid working from home and using the main Yorkshire based office. Travel to audit manufacturers, suppliers and stores along with visiting customers will be part of the role and thus a driving licence is required. Ideally you will be well versed in Health and Safety as well as auditing, however training can be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already working in the Quality Assurance and Legislation world who either already has knowledge of the animal and pet food industries or a strong interest to learn more.
What you will need to have to be considered for this opportunity:
- Be educated to degree level.
- Have excellent knowledge of quality systems and auditing.
