Dairy Herd Manager

Due to significant expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a working herds manager to join a modern and progressive family farm in North Yorkshire.

The candidate will be heavily involved in transitioning to a new state of the art rotary parlour and cow housing. The herd consists of high genetic pedigree Holstein cows averaging 128000kg expanding to a herd size of 450 by the end of 2022. Experience in the dairy industry is essential.

The candidate must be trained and competent in foot trimming and AI as well as being confident with modern technologies and computing and strive for the high standards and outcomes as we do.

A competitive salary with regular time off and a modern 3-bedroom house on the farm is available to the successful candidate.
