Veterinary Advisor - Ruminant Sector (Northern England)

Are you an experienced vet seeking to move into an advisory role? Do you possess an extensive large animal background and a keen eye for the animal pharmaceutical industry? If so, we'd be interest to hear from you.

Our client, a prominent and diverse animal health business, is seeking a veterinary advisor to act as the expert on technical matters across their product range. You will respond to product related questions and issues, supporting both customers and colleagues from a technical and scientific standpoint. You will continuously monitor products, predominantly in the field, and implement effective market support.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Provide technical and scientific advice to customers and sales personnel
• Attend a spectrum of training events
• Develop training programmes
• Train local sales teams across your territory
• Monitor products and deliver effective market support
• Build and maintain strong business relationships through regular visits, events and calls
• Contribute to technical articles

What you will have:

• A veterinary degree
• Extensive practical background with ruminant livestock
• Professional experience within a UK livestock or mixed practice
• Working knowledge of the animal pharmaceutical industry
• The ability to influence sector professionals
