Experienced Arable Operator

Stokes Farms are looking for an experienced Arable Operator to join our team in Warboys, Cambridgeshire from Mid July - October inclusive with the possibility of further roles within the business.

Primary roles will include hedge trimming, grain carting, and primary/ secondary cultivations with our fleet of modern RTK equipped New Holland tractors, as well as general farm labour as required. 

Our standard working day is 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday, but evenings and weekends will be required during harvest and drilling.

Full U.K. driving licence required, Telescopic handler licence desirable. Previous hedge trimming experience preferable but not essential as all training will be provided.

We are a young team running a 1000ha Arable farm in Cambridgeshire, looking for someone to join us from the middle of June until the end of October, with the opportunities for further roles for the right person. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and good level of mechanical symathy. The ideal candidate will have experince of operating modern hedge trimming equipment as the farm has just invest in a brand new variable forward reach 6 meter trimmer with electronic controls. This will be the primary duty of this role outside of harvest/ cultivations/ drilling.

Whilst someone with experience is prefered, candidates with limited experience but the right attitude will be considered.
