Job description

The Digital Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the Digital Operations Manager with CMS/CRM platform support ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all Agriconnect websites and customer-facing platforms and tools. Working with all teams across the organisation, this role requires someone who can bring together strong digital skills, operational experience, and the ability to manage internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

Platform support:

  • Working with the Digital Operations Manager to support all Martech platforms and tools including Affino.
  • Create conversion events for marketing campaigns – targeted marketing per user-group (content-based or security right based)
  • Support for 12 digital platform upgrades each year, UX testing, all fixes and roll out from staging to live on all sites.
  • Website support ensuring all sites are mobile-first, following SEO best practice, working with the SEO and Paid Media manager including Jobs in Agriculture, FG Buy and Sell.
  • Develop and support all event WordPress websites - Croptec, British Farming Awards
  • Support as and when needed the digital build elements of campaigns (Farming Can, Farm24, This is Ag, Beat the Parasites – over 40 big projects annually).
  • Create/ update CMS content hub/ landing pages for each new Insightful project according to the client brief.
  • Support the team on the advertising campaign management, managing of the impression inventory, and ensuring commercial campaigns deliver targets
  • Chase copy from agencies and clients for the display sales team
  • Manage communication with Display, Classified and Insightful teams – available impression inventory, provide commercial project report and feedback. Adjust campaigns according to changes in traffic and campaign requirements.
  • Create all commercial audience surveys on survey software - share with data admin role.

Reporting and Analysing:

  • Generate reports on internal usage of the platforms, making recommendations on training needed and new features so that all teams are aware and can use the tech within the business.Customer Focus
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all audiences and critically review all inbound campaign leads (for Events, Digital and Print) to ensure that they reflect the right audience.

Proven history in:

  • Highly digitally literate; able to pick up new systems quickly
  • Experience of working on a range of content management systems
  • Highly attentive to detail, and experienced in managing QA processes; able to test new web features quickly and effectively
  • CMS experience, HTML, CSS, pidgin Javascript
  • Confident in the use of online analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Email Marketing, and knowledge of on-page SEO & Link Building
  • Knowledge of Affino digital platform would be an advantage.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with significant B2B digital marketing experience with an impressive performance record
  • Digital native – loves technology and how it enables teams to be successful
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and report on successes
  • Highly organised and able to establish priorities when working with multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with a collaborative approach
