Are you a seasoned ag machinery service manager seeking a new challenge? Or maybe an experienced ag machinery service technician ready to transition to the next level of your career? Our client, an established regional dealership with a broad portfolio of tractors, agricultural and groundcare machinery, is seeking to appoint a Service Manager to lead a growing team of 11 technicians across the business. You will have a proven background in the service of agricultural, construction and/or horticultural machinery and, ideally, will have successfully managed people in a previous role. You will also bring familiarity with P&L management and reporting.

What your 'day-to-day' will look like:

  • Lead on the efficient running of the service department
  • Oversee and organise service schedule
  • Develop dealership's service management and profitability capabilities to help strengthen their service business  
  • Manage and report on departmental P&L to senior management
  • Lead on professional development of service staff
  • Communicate effectively through multiple channels internally and externally
  • Ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Liaise and build relationships across the customer base
  • Oversee retail, internal and warranty invoice, WIP management
  • Understand and implement current and future H&S regulations

What you will possess:

  • Knowledge of agricultural, construction and or horticultural equipment would be advantageous
  • Previous management experience or supervisory is desirable
  • Familiarity of profit/loss management and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can remain calm under pressure
  • Be organized and have the ability to multitask efficiently
