Digital Operations Manager

Are you looking for a digital role in a dynamic team that is going places and leading our digitisation strategy? Do you take pride in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of operations across all websites and customer-facing platforms and tools? Working with all teams across the organisation, this role requires someone who can bring together strong digital skills, stakeholder management and general organisational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • This role has line management responsibilities, the Digital Operations Administrator and Digital Operations Executive are part of your team. You will set objectives, share the load and prioritise your combined tasks each sprint.
  • You will be the system expert for our CMS/ CRM system Affino and responsible for the day-to-day management of websites. Full training provided but experience in similar is a must.
  • We have regular upgrades to the platform and you, and your team, will test these, as well as roll out of the new and exciting features included in each upgrade to the content and marketing teams.
  • Manage/ create templates for newsletters and commercial emails, data list management where appropriate with the Data Team.
  • Support the roll out new marketing platforms and other Martech including automation flows and end to end reporting with the team.
  • Support the scoping, planning, and pricing of new digital commercial and marketing projects.
  • Support the project management and resource allocation for all digital build elements of campaigns (Farming Can, Farm24, This is Ag, Beat the Parasites – over 40 big projects annually).
  • You will be responsible for the analytic set up and the monitoring of trackers across the sites, and all new sponsor initiatives.
  • Work across marketing and content teams to support them with analytics tracking.
  • Engage with projects to ensure the analytics solutions meet business requirements.
  • Generate reports and providing insights and recommendations based on data.

Proven history in

  • Experience managing and optimising a high traffic website
  • Highly digitally literate; able to pick up new systems quickly
  • Experienced in working with developers: reporting bugs, troubleshooting, and writing user stories
  • Highly attentive to detail, and experienced in managing QA processes; able to test new web features quickly and effectively
  • Confident in the use of online analytics

About you

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, with significant B2B digital marketing experience with an impressive performance record
  • You love technology and how it enables teams to be successful
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and report on successes
  • Highly organised and able to establish priorities when working with multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a cross-functional team.
