Perhaps you've experience of a showroom-based or retail role together with a passion for agricultural machinery. Alternatively, you may be seeking to step into sales or get a 'foot in the door' of a reputable agri-machinery dealership. If any of this rings true, we'd be keen to talk.

A well established, regional agricultural machinery dealership with a portfolio of leading franchises is looking for an enthusiastic salesperson to join their showroom team. You will work both independently and as part of a team reporting to the Parts Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day sales of parts, hardware, clothing and domestic horticultural machines. You will use your excellent customer service skills to provide maximum customer satisfaction. You will also utilise your organisational skills to merchandise the retail area in order to boost sales and grow the business. You will maintain the high standards of the newly refurbished showroom area.

What the role will look like:

  • You will use your knowledge of garden/agricultural equipment to help answer customer queries
  • You will provide communication to customers in-person, over the phone and via Email
  • You will work as part of the sales team to support the continued growth of the business
  • You will handle cash, cheque, and card payments accurately

You will possess:

  • High level of attention to detail and strong numeracy
  • Good communication skills (Email, telephone and face-to-face)
  • Good computer, IT and literary skills, familiarity with email and internet use
  • Experience in a customer facing environment with showroom experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of garden and agricultural machinery or similar products (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of self-motivation to achieve/exceed sales targets
  • Full UK drivers licence
