Herdsperson

HERDSPERSON 
Lymm, Cheshire

The Farm is a 700 acre progressive dairy farm, milking 330 in an 20/40 parlour.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Herdsperson work closely with the team, duties to include milking, feeding young stock, bedding, scraping, assisting with calf rearing, general stock tasks including de horning and vaccinating and general farm work. 

An interest in grass measurement and budgeting would be an advantage but not essential. 

We are keen providers of CPD and will supplement in work development with external training opportunities. Previous experience is essential and the successful candidate must a be team player with drive, good work ethic and communication skills. This is a 10 day per fortnight rota including milking and essential jobs every other weekend.
