We have new contract vacancy for an experienced head herdsperson to take the day-to-day control of 200 Holstein cows in Hampshire.

This summer calving herd is milked twice per day via a 20 x 20 Surge Rapid exit parallel parlour with a backing gate, with a TMR fed year round.

Whilst housed, cows have access to cubicle housing with mattress and sawdust bedding and tractor scraped.

The appointed person will be taking the day-to-day control of milkings, cow health, record keeping and management using Uniform Agri.  AI would be an advantage, whilst foot trimming is carried out by an outside contractor.
