Arable operator with an interest in field trials?- Hertfordshire - AS046

If you are an arable operator, looking for your way into the research sector this is the role for you. You will be working for a well-known research company based in Hertfordshire, that are ahead of the times with global science, they are fresh thinking and have innovation at the for front of their minds.

On an average day you can expect to be carrying out general tasks set by the field trials manager, communicating regularly on work progress and improvement ideas. You will have responsibility in making sure all your fieldwork (including drilling, combining and general farm work) is complete and done to the best standards, whilst keeping records of data collection, chemical records etc.


To be successful, you will have:

  • A practical arable machinery operator background
  • An interest in being hands on with field trials
  • Have a full UK drivers license
  • Excellent communication skills
