An integral role for an area manager or a highly experienced breeder farm manager looking for their next step up - this opportunity to become a Broiler Breeder Area Manager for this dominant market leader is one not to be missed!

In this central role you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to ensure effective and efficient operation of farms under your management. The responsibilities of the role will include husbandry standards, health status, bio-security, building maintenance, operational issues and problem solving as required. Duties will also include ensuring that farms comply with farm assurance requirements, and Health & Safety audits. You will be covering England from the North to the South, so you will be happy with traveling and overnight stays.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Managing a team of Farm Managers.
  • Providing necessary training, guidance and motivation to all farm managers in your territory.
  • Assisting in technical queries and problem solving
  • Effectively communicating and coordinating our client's requirements
  • Analysing, monitoring and recording performance.
  • Driving change and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Administering of capital projects.
  • Dealing with purchasing requirements.

The Requirements:

  • UK Broiler-Breeder Farm Management experience is essential.
  • Excellent People management experience and ability, including leadership skills.
  • Able to work autonomously on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Must be organised, have attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Confident and professional approach.
  • Competent IT Skills are essential.
  • Must be organised, have attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Sound knowledge of associated agricultural processes.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
