Broiler Farm Assistant Manager-East Of England

We are looking for a forward thinking and committed person to fill the position of Assistant Farm Manager on a large, modern broiler farm based in the East of England. You will need previous Broiler experience on a large scale and a "can do" attitude, being performance focused.

This is a great opportunity to work for a progressive and well known employer in the poultry industry. An average day will see you ensuring all record keeping, performance and welfare, ventilation management, feed ordering and general daily tasks will be carried out to the highest standard. You will need to liaise regularly with the farm manager and other staff member to ensure the smooth running of this 350k bird site.

Requirements:

• Have experience of working with Broilers on a large site.
• Be hands on and possess a practical, can-do attitude with great attention to detail.
• Be confident with modern computer and ventilation systems.
• Ideally have experience working with biomass and ground source, however this is not essential.
• Be reliable and committed-able to work under minimal supervision.
