Maintenance Engineer - Hampshire

Are you an experienced Engineer that is looking for more opportunities to lead a team? Perhaps you have experience in plant machinery, and are looking to make the cross over into Agriculture?

You will be responsible for all machinery maintenance within the site of a busy grain terminal. As a competent self-manager, you will use your excellent organisational skills to plan both your own and others workloads. This is an opportunity to use both your mechanical and electrical knowledge, working on state of the art equipment in a fast paced and diverse role.

Your day-to-day:

  • Routine maintenance and repair of a range of production equipment, both independently and alongside outside contractors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Manage the maintenance schedule of all plant equipment.
  • Monitor stocks of maintenance spares and liaise with suppliers.
  • Complete risk assessments and ensure safe working practices at all times.

You will have:

  • Experience of working with heavy mechanical plant machinery.
  • Relevant engineering qualification.
  • High attention to detail, with a high awareness for health and safety.
  • Mechanically minded, with an ability to troubleshoot.
  • Experience of team management is highly desirable.
  • Adaptable approach to working, particularly during peak periods.
