UK Commercial Director - Veterinary

An influential and strategic individual is sought after to lead an incredibly unique opportunity forward within the veterinary sector. Providing the essential missing link between farmers and animal health bodies you will aid efficiency and development within the sector.

Venturing into a new era, this newly fledged business is yours to implement your own ideas into with the support of a wider more established business above you. It is expected for you to manage new client relationships ranging between veterinary groups, farmers, governing bodies and laboratories utilising your technical and commercial knowledge accordingly.

Role requirements:

• Identify and develop commercial opportunities for the business to aid business growth.
• Prepare business proposals and contracts in line with the company's strategic plan.
• Lead and direct in all commercial decisions.
• Responsible for marketing including strategies and website management.
• Be an advocate to the business as the team grows, providing support and direction within.
• Travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland promoting the business and associated product.

About you:

• Have a technical mindset with proven commercial ability.
• An influential leader and motivator.
• Be experienced within the animal health and/or veterinary sector and technical understanding. Enabling you to form a secure bridge between clients within this area.
• Adaptable and dynamic attitude.
• Advantageous if an understanding of laboratory working and protocols is held.
• Self-starter.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
