A contract vacancy has arisen for an experienced person looking for a key role within a well-known farming business.

As the successful applicant you will be able take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the 340-cow herd on a recognised tight autumn block calving, forage-based system.  The herd, in facilities that receive ongoing investment and development, is cubicle housed, with easy-feed grass/maize silage fed as self-feed and in mangers; concentrates are fed in the swift flowing 16:32 DTL parlour.

The responsibilities of this role are fertility and efficient, quality production from forage/grazing.  You will also have an input with the youngstock and farm as a whole; aided by the benefit of support from an excellent experienced herdsman, the first-class farm team and this dedicated farming business as a whole.
