What will I be doing?
- Formulating a wide range of products for ruminants, equine and monogastric species.
- Working closely with the manufacturing team, ensuring products are formulated and produced to the highest standard.
- Advising both internal teams and external clients on any formulation related queries.
- Always striving to ensure you are working with cost in mind, ensuring you can remain competitive in a tight market where raw material prices fluctuate significantly.
- This close-knit team work together to assign work, you will be an excellent communicator able to work autonomously.
What experience do I need?
- You will need either an MSc or above in Animal Nutrition or alternatively a BSc in Animal Nutrition with a placement year in industry- this is essential for this role.
- Experience in formulation is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using custom software, experience in operating BestMix would make your application stand out.
- Excellent understanding of animal nutrition.
An exceptional remuneration package will be offered including a generous salary dependent on experience level, a benefits package worth circa £2000 per year and a discretionary bonus.
