Senior Farm Business Consultant - Partnership Opportunity - South West

You're already a successful farm consultant, able to build long term relationships with your customers over a range of enterprises. Your understanding of the industry and every day running of your client's farms is where you excel in advising them on a range of areas and ensuring their business is successful. Now you're ready for more business responsibility with an opportunity to join a well renowned business based in the South West - this is your chance to really make your mark and continue the running of this busy, well respected firm.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a practical knowledge of farming, ideally dairy, along with experience within the commercial advisory sector. You will be required to provide independent and practical advice on a one to one basis to farmers within your specified geographical location. The successful candidate will not be "over managed" and will be given a great deal of freedom to service existing clients as well as grow their own customer base - This is an excellent opportunity to be a person rather a figure in a business.

Those who are currently working in consultancy either from a finance and/or grass-based dairying background are encouraged to enquire.

Requirements:

• Driven, commercially minded, enthusiastic self-starters who understand the industry.
• Preferably have a Degree or equivalent qualification in agriculture or related discipline.
• Have a good understanding and practical knowledge of agriculture, ideally in grass based dairying.
• A high level of computer literacy alongside excellent on farm communication and organisational skills.
• Sound understanding of financial consultancy such as accounts, budgeting etc.
• Valid UK driving license.
