Herd Manager

Ernespie Farm are looking for someone with a passion for Holstein cows to take responsibility for the management of the dairy herd.

We milk 300 pedigree Holsteins, 150 which are milked through Delaval robotic milkers with the remaining being milked twice a day through a modern 20/40 Delaval parlour. The plan is to move to fully robotic milking.

The herd is AYR calving in modern facilities. We take pride in our work and our herd of cows; this was rewarded when we won Scottish Dairy Farm of the year in 2019. We want the successful candidate to help maintain these high standards.
