Farm Manager- Ireland

The role as Farm Manager is truly multifaceted, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the farm are running efficiently and providing optimum conditions to grow the best quality produce which this business is renowned for. The successful person will be joining one of the largest and most successful vegetable producers in Ireland with an exceptional reputation.

This role is all about your skills as a Farm Manager, you do not have to come from a vegetable/salad background (although this would be advantageous) this business believe in investing in people, someone with the right experience and attitude will be able to easily pick up the reins growing alternative crops and managing the team on site.

Working closely with the Farm Operations Manager and Managing Director you will ensure the farm is producing high quality, profitable crops which meet the customer demands and specifications. There is ample scope for diversification with this modern, forward thinking business- they are currently growing salad and carrots but are keen to increase their range of crops grown throughout the year.

You will need:

• Prior experience in an arable/vegetable/salad Farm Management role.
• Team Management experience.
• Forward thinking attitude- this business are always looking for the next step.
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
