We have a contract vacancy for an all-round dairy farming enthusiast to be part of a family farm, just North of Carmarthen in West Wales. The farm runs to 400 acres with 300 black and white summer-autumn calving cows yielding 9,500 litres on 2x milking through a new 32 x 32 Dairy-master with ADF.   A TMR consisting of grass silage and whole crop is fed with top up cake in the parlour. 

Sawdust and mattress cubicle yards are utilised, and good attention to detail is required to help maintain this already well managed herd that takes advantage of Genus RMS and an outside foot trimming contractor. 

The appointed person will be expected to be involved in milking shifts with 2 others alongside all other herd and farm operations. 

A 3-bed detached bungalow on farm is on offer along with a competitive salary.
