Joining the Technical Sales Team, you will develop and grow the business in your area. This business has been a leading supplier of grass seed for decades and this will be your primary focus. This is a role for someone who is hugely personable, able to convey technical knowledge and advise at a variety of levels to provide exceptional customer service.

You will:

  • Oversee, develop and manage a regional area of customers, to include distributors and end users.
  • Use your technical knowledge and commercial insight to develop and grow accounts.
  • Develop and grow the Grass Seed business within your region.
  • Provide relevant technical advice and support to customers at all levels, both remotely and on site.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other areas of the business to design appropriate technical advice for use in marketing materials.
  • Execute campaigns and attend industry events to represent the brand.

You will need:

  • Prior experience in an agricultural field sales role is desirable but not essential if you have an aptitude for sales and relationship builder.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
  • A relevant degree would be advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of the arable sector, ideally from a practical background.
  • Drive to succeed- you will get out what you put in!
  • BASIS and/or BASIS Seed and FACTS would be advantageous.
