Tractor Driver / Stockperson

We require an enthusiastic and versatile individual to carry out the tractor driving on a mixed farm 10 miles north of Shrewsbury. The 650-acre farm consists of dairy, beef and arable operations.

Key responsibilities of the role will be TMR feeding, scraping, bedding, silage making and machinery maintenance / repair and some husbandry of the dairy cows.

The successful candidate must be a multi-skilled individual who is as happy sorting through cattle as they are sat on a tractor.

This extremely varied position requires a very enthusiastic person who also has great attention to detail, is flexible, able to think for themselves and also works well as part of a larger team. Good communication skills are also essential qualities for this role, as well as someone who is mechanically minded and has an appreciation for maintaining good kit.
In return for your efforts, we offer a highly competitive salary with bonus schemes and regular time off. There is no accommodation provided with this role, but this is reflected in the remuneration.
