The Role:
To be responsible for:
- Territory Management
- Management of staff and resources to provide recording and health testing services to our customers.
- Recruitment & Training
- Area Coordinator (Where applicable)
- Existing Customers
- Building and maintaining customer relationship
- To develop sales of additional services & testing
- Account management
- Self-employed Milk Recorder / Sampler service providers

The role may also involve supporting and providing the robot shuttle hire service in terms of organising, transporting, setting up, taking down, cleaning and storage of robot shuttles.
This role will be salaried and will be home based. Your weekly hours will be flexible to allow early morning starts/late evenings and milking patterns of customers. This will cover from Monday to Friday, to fit the needs of the business totalling your contractual 37 hours per week.
Driving will be a significant aspect of the role. You will need to be located within the area or willing to relocate. You will be provided with the relevant equipment to undertake the role including a choice of company van or car.
Essential Key Skills & Requirements:
- A graduate, HND or equivalent in agriculture or relevant commercial experience
- Ability to manage a team and ensure motivation and engagement
- Time management and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills verbal and written
- Self-motivated with a positive, can do attitude
- Valid driving license
- Ability to work effectively within a team and add value
- Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in work produced
- Fully PC literate
Desirable Key Skills:
Farming experience and knowledge of the dairy industry
- On Farm software experience
- Milk Recording / sampling experience
- Problem solving skills

Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the efficient delivery of service via your team to defined performance standards for your allocated herds
- To effectively manage the self-employed milk recorders and samplers on a day-to-day basis in line with Service Level Agreements
- To recruit, manage and support the employed Area Coordinator on a day-to-day basis (where applicable)
- To undertake recruitment and training of self-employed individuals
- Ensure self-employed individuals’ monthly payments are correct
- Managing customers’ subscription / accounts e.g.
- Correct service provided against invoicing
- Managing credits process
- To on board new customers and ensure the retention of NMR customers
- Lead generation
- Sales of additional products & services
- Achieving revenue levels in accordance with budgets set
- Territory performance reporting and analysis in line with objectives set
- Handling and resolution of customer complaints
- Coordinate Herd Competitions (where applicable)
- Promote NMR and assist at local and national events e.g. shows and farm walks
- To maintain effective knowledge of NMR products and services including the wider industry
- To work closely with the team to ensure high quality service and continued business development
- To participate in additional projects as and when required
- To undertake various reporting using NMR systems as required by your line manager
- To adhere to all NMR policies
