Multiskilled Mechanical Engineer - West Midlands

This is your opportunity to join an experienced engineering team with a national reach and varied client base across the commercial agricultural and horticultural machinery industries.

As a Mechanical Engineer, it would be your job to service, maintain and repair the machinery this company supplies to the horticultural/agricultural sector.

Additional tasks include delivering and commissioning machines, machinery demos and providing technical support.

Your time would be split between the Warwickshire workshop and travelling to grower sites across the country to maintain machinery in situ. You may be required to stay overnight 1-2 nights per week.

This company is looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable communicating directly with customers. Candidates from all engineering backgrounds will be considered providing they have relevant and transferable skills.

The role

• Maintain and repair market-leading machinery
• Deliver and commission machines
• Demonstrate how machinery works to customers
• Provide technical support to customers
• Dispatch spare parts to customers

What you will have:

• Prior engineering experience
• Personable and able to communicate effectively
• Attention to detail
• Prepared to travel (1 or 2 nights away per week, usually midweek)
• UK Driving License
• Basic computer skills
