Assistant Technical Manager – Supplementary Feed - Field Based

Are you ready for a commercial step up? This is a great next step for a Technical Sales Manager, looking to progress their career within an influential business where they can really make their mark.

First class products require a first class team behind them, you will need to be full of inspiration, technical understanding, with an eye for commercial development. This role will see you grow into a senior position within one of the UK's most prominent businesses specialising in supplementary feed.

Reporting to the MD , you will have the chance to really influence how products are developed, represented and sold. You will cover the UK and will be expected to travel internationally as and when required.

You will have a solid understanding of ruminant diets and their effect on production and therefore profitability. Whilst the right person will have a technical ability, commercial awareness as well as the ability to influence - sales will be a key feature of your skill set.

When you're not assisting on technical matters surrounding products, you will be out supporting your customers in store and/or on farm, offering your expertise on the company's offerings and the benefits to customers and farmers.

Key Requirements Include (but are not limited to):

• Technically and Commercially astute in the nutrition sector

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and commercial formulation / rationing software.

• Ability to influence and negotiate

• Flexibility to travel and with overseas stays
