JOB SUMMARY
The key focus of the role will be to support the growth of the Rural Portfolio through extensive phone based sales of exhibition space and sponsorship. You will grow and develop your target area. You will also come up with new ideas for new business. You will also play a role in helping to develop the show.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct sales presentations by telephone, letter or face to face (when appropriate) to existing and prospective clients in order to develop existing business and generate new business wherever possible.
- Advise on the most effective solution to meet client needs within the Agriconnect portfolio. Pitch all relevant products and sales opportunities and communicate promptly to customers.
- Continually seek new sales & opportunities and develop these in liaison with the events team as necessary.
- Achieve all pre-set sales targets ensuring a successful contribution to the business performance.
- Day to day administration duties in relation of sales
- Researching new leads and sectors to explore
- Attending industry events throughout the year
- Implement the sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Track daily sales and support production of timely and accurate sales reports.
- Account management of existing and where appropriate new key accounts
- Liaise with other teams/stakeholders as required to support the effective delivery of the event.
- Work with other key stakeholders to manage and develop the show floor plan.
- Ensure client records are maintained effectively.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure the successful coordination of the event
- Constantly demonstrate high levels of customer service to new and existing customers
- Consistently achieve daily, weekly and monthly call stats

- Experience of developing and implementing successful sales leads

- Good working knowledge of relevant CRM systems, Microsoft packages and other tolls required for the role
